Wondering When to Place Your Order?
It’s never too early to order Hawaiian leis shipped to mainland. Simply select your desired delivery date and we’ll make sure your order arrives fresh and beautiful on the date you select. We sincerely appreciate orders made one week in advance, and welcome orders up to a year in advance! Last minute order? We can certainly accommodate you, however substitutions may be necessary based on availability of flowers.
Selecting the Best Delivery Date
Carefully selecting the best delivery date will help ensure the freshness of your leis and flowers for your important event.
Morning Event? Select the day before as your delivery date and follow the care instructions included on your packing slip for overnight storage.
Monday event? Or Tuesday event East of the Rockies? There are no flights out of Honolulu over the weekend. Therefore, whenever possible, avoid Monday delivery dates (as well as Tuesday delivery dates to zones East of the Rockies) since your leis will need to ship out of Honolulu on Friday and transit time will be longer than ideal. If you must ship over the weekend, we suggest shipping our durable and beautiful Purple Orchid Leis, as they are the most tolerant and will hold up well during this longer journey.
FedEx does not deliver on Sundays, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Day. If you’ll be using your leis or flowers on a Sunday or a holiday, we advise you to select one day prior to your event for your delivery date.
FedEx Priority Shipping gets to the West Coast States in less than a day. For example, if we ship to California on Monday, it will get there Tuesday before 12 noon to most addresses. Some rural areas will receive delivery later in the day. A guaranteed delivery time will be given when you place your order.
FedEx Priority Shipping gets to states East of the Rockies in about a day and a half. For example, if we ship to New York on Monday, it will get there Wednesday before 12 noon to most addresses. Some rural areas will receive delivery later in the day. A guaranteed delivery time will be given when you place your order.
California Deliveries
The California Department of Agriculture inspects all shipments into California in an effort to keep bugs and pests from negatively affecting California crops. Due to a particularly difficult pest to eradicate on the Maile vine, they have banned the shipment of the traditional Hawaiian Maile Lei into the state of California all together. We suggest our beautiful Maile-Style Ti Leaf Lei as wonderful alternative to the traditional Maile Lei. We want to be sure that all Hawaiian leis delivered to California are in perfect condition.
