Crown Flower Lei Strands
$40.00 – $60.00
Only the buds or “hearts” of the crown flower are used in this lei. The strands are delicate in appearance but very durable, making them a very good alternative to pikake strands for shipping to the mainland, as they will hold up much better in transit. The crown flower became a popular lei making flower in the 1800s, and was Queen Liliuokalani’s favorite flower as it resembled the royal crown.
