Double Royal Ilima Lei

The Royal Ilima Lei is one of very few Native (not introduced) Hawaiian leis still enjoyed today. This twisting double strand Ilima Lei is rich in color and has a velvet texture.

Over 1,000 petals are strung to create this very regal and extravagant Hawaiian lei. Because of the effort and time involved in making them, Ilima Leis were highly prized by the Ali’i (royalty).
