Pikake Lei – Rope Style
$85.00
Usually reserved for very special occasions and often worn by the bride in wedding ceremonies, pikake leis are very delicate and last only a short time. We pack as many blossoms as possible when making this pikake rope lei, strung kui poepoe or in a circular pattern. The pikake lei is very fragile and fleeting, but has been an island favorite since the 19th century. The flowers are seasonal and only available during the dry summer months. It takes about 1000 pikake buds to make this rope-style lei.
